What is Argentine tango?
Argentine tango is the original tango — intense, magnetic, with a dramatic flair. Its emphasis rests on the embrace, which can range from open to closed at the chest. Feet stay close to the floor as the dancers seemingly glide.
This is not ballroom tango. It’s improvisation, musicality, and milonga culture — intimate and powerful. George and Jairelbhi host Evolution Tango milongas and Milonga Del Sol so class has a place to become a night out.
Class is about walking, the embrace, and listening — not a long choreography. Partners rotate. When you’re ready, the milonga is where tango becomes a conversation.
